Snaggle-toothed AND Crooked Cat

My cat has always had tooth/gum problems, resulting in *really* bad breath. And brownish-reddish drool when it gets real bad. With his other health problems (age=13 yrs, and a severe stroke last year), I wasn't really sure he could tolerate a tooth cleaning/tooth removal because they involve anesthesia, so I was ignoring his bloody drool and bad breath, hoping it would resolve itself, as it has before. And then his breath got really really FOUL. So bad it turned my stomach from 5 feet away. It was horrid. So off to the vet he went. I had waited too long, of course, resulting in a two-night visit and more hundreds of dollars than I want to claim paying (and my vet gives me a *big* discount as his wife is my best friend). The end result? Poor cat has very few teeth left. Only one fang, an upper, so it gives me a very odd appearance when he meows and you can see inside his mouth. So not only is he crooked from a weak leg from his stroke, but now he's snaggle-toothed too.
But no bad breath.
Spring! Yes it has sprung here in California. Tulips and daffodils are blooming, as is my saucer magnolia tree. No blooms yet on the redbuds though and the trees haven't started sprouted new leaves yet, but we had 70 degree weather yesterday! Supposed to cool off some now though, but still, when you have spring weather in our area, you'd best take advantage of it, because the more temperate seasons like spring and fall are here and gone before you can really enjoy them if you're not careful.
